For authors
An article about your video is written in your voice. That's why it's yours.
Public, like the video
Your video is published — so the article about it is public too, and anyone can read it without signing in. It doesn't replace the video: the “Watch the video” button sits right under the title, and the facts in the text open the video at their own second.
The last word is yours: any article about your videos can be taken, rewritten or hidden.
Take your articles
Sign in with the Google account your channel lives on. Storiteca pulls in the list of your videos, and every article about them becomes yours — including those someone else made before you came.
Rewrite
The machine version is a draft. In the editor you can rewrite any paragraph, give the article your own title, add a frame from the second you choose or a picture of your own, and pick what the article shows on the home page — the video's cover or a frame. Readers see your version instead of the machine one, and the line saying the text was written automatically goes away. You can always go back to the machine version.
Choose who sees it
Each article has three levels: everyone, and on the home page; only people with the link; only you. A hidden article answers strangers with “not found” — they don't even learn it exists.
A page for your channel
Everything read from your channel is gathered at one short address — say it in a video or put it in the description, for those who would rather read.
storiteca.com/c/… — followed by the channel ID from YouTube.
New videos
Storiteca can follow your channel: new videos get their articles as they come out, without you pressing anything.
What we ask Google for
Signing in lets Storiteca see your channel and the list of your videos, nothing more. There are no calls that change anything on YouTube — reading only. What Google will ask for →
For now, accounts are set up by invitation.Write to hi@storiteca.com — we'll add your channel.
